Job Description The Air Availability Services (HPA) is a team that develops high performance core Java applications that provide air seats availability for shopping and pricing queries. A Lead Java Developer is responsible for designing and implementing solutions using OOD principles as well as providing guidelines for all other developers. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develops, codes, tests and debugs new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity. • Has good understanding of business application. • Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. • Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. • Demonstrates software. • Designs and codes moderately complex applications using routine and/or advanced technology; • Create optimization programs to resolve problems; • Design and build prototype applications. Job Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: ‘Must have’ skills: •5 years of relevant professional experience as Java Developer •Expert knowledge in Java Core Multithread •Communicative, detail – oriented. •Very good communication skills in English, written and verbal •B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
